About Refuge Network International

Refuge Network International (RNI) is a London-based NGO dedicated to the fundamental belief that everyone deserves equitable access to food and an adequate standard of living.

Internationally registered as a charitable entity in multiple jurisdictions, we operate as a strategic global non-profit to champion socio-economic rights—including housing, health, education, and dignified work—for some of the world’s most vulnerable populations.

Our Journey: From Global Mission to Local Impact

Our early years were defined by international missions supporting refugees and underserved communities.

The 2020 global pandemic marked a pivotal shift in our trajectory. In response to the crisis on British soil, we established a dedicated UK presence that has since become a cornerstone of our operations.

This evolution transformed our work in the UK from occasional outreach into a consistent, weekly lifeline for homeless individuals, refugees, and low-income households.

Fighting Poverty on Multiple Fronts

We don’t just offer relief; we build an Empowerment Ecosystem. Every week, our integrated service banks tackle hunger, digital exclusion, clothing and hygiene poverty simultaneously:

  • Food Bank & Community Kitchen: Combating food insecurity with nutritious meals.

  • Digital Device & Data Bank: Bridging the digital divide for the marginalised.

  • Clothes & Hygiene Bank: Restoring dignity through essential supplies and toiletries.

Impact Highlights

  • 2.5 Million Essential Items Distributed – Delivering food, clothing, toiletries, groceries, medical supplies, and vital technology to people experiencing deep poverty.

  • 24 Cities Reached – Humanitarian initiatives delivered or ongoing presence across 20 countries in Europe, Africa, and North America.

  • 150 Community Events Organised Annually – High-impact outreach programmes supporting vulnerable communities.

  • 100+ Nationalities Represented – A diverse network of volunteers united by a shared mission.

  • Volunteer-Powered – A 99.99% volunteer-run organisation, ensuring the vast majority of resources directly benefit those we serve.

Strategic Corporate Partnerships

Our mission is fuelled by collaboration. In the past year alone, RNI hosted over 150 high-impact community events, including bespoke corporate volunteering experiences.

Our work has been featured by local and international news media, including the BBC, and has attracted support from a prestigious roster of teams representing global organisations like:

Microsoft • Google • Coca-Cola • Amazon • TikTok • Samsung • PWC • Accenture • IHG Hotels • Penguin Books  • Gallagher • Virgin Media O2 • Morgan Stanley • The Economist • Timberland • NatWest • M&G • Snapchat ...and many more.
